November 13th
12.00 noon: official press conference of the 2012 CIS edition, in the presence of H.E. Claudio Bisogniero, the Ambassador of Italy to the United States and the Italian artists delegation. 7.30 pm: pre-opening event. Cinema Italian Style Classic dedicated to Carlo Ponti. Screening of Two Women (La Ciociara), produced by C. Ponti in occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Academy Award® for Best Actress received by Sophia Loren.

November 14th
Official opening of Cinema Italian Style 2012. Gala evening to present the official Academy’s Awards Entry, Italy, Best Foreign Language Film: Caesar must die (Cesare deve morire) by Paolo and Vittorio Taviani and played by the prisoners of the Rome city jail, already winner of the 2012 Berlin International Film Festival. After the screening, there will be an exclusive dinner reserved to Hollywood Foreign Press Association, Academy members and personalities of the LA scene.

From November 15th to 18th
10 additional titles will display the best Italian Cinema of the past season. The films’ cast and crew shall be present for Q&A interviews, meetings, screenings and classes at LA Universities to introduce the movies to film students.
