The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opens in Los Angeles

The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures opens its doors to the world on September 30.

Founding Supporter of the Museum, Cinecittà has signed a deal that will bring Italian Cinema to Los Angeles with festivals, exhibitions and retrospectives.
The relationship between American and Italian cinema, ancient yet stronger than ever, has found and keeps finding its perfect synthesis in Cinecittà, considering that 90 Italian films made in our studios were up for an Oscar nomination – 47 of those were won.
The fact that the Museum’s project bears the signature of an Italian architect and artist such as Renzo Piano seems to further strengthen this dialogue between Hollywood and our “Hollywood on the Tiber” studios.
