Sold out for the opening night of the retrospective dedicated to Ugo Tognazzi at the MoMA
Sold out and lots of emotions last night for the premiere of the homage dedicated to Ugo Tognazzi at the MoMA The Museum of Modern Art in New York organized, as every year, by Istituto Luce Cinecittà . Maria Sole Tognazzi, representing her family for the occasion, introduced her documentary: “Portrait of My Father“, followed by the movie that consecrated Tognazzi as best actor in Cannes in 1991: “Tragedy of a ridiculous man“. Roberto Cicutto, President and CEO of Istituto Luce Cinecittà, affectionately remembered Bernardo Bertolucci, director of the movie who passed away last week, to whom Istituto Luce Cinecittà had dedicated a complete retrospective in 2010, at MoMA as well.
