November 10th

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the film, an exceptional event: the world premiere screening of “Cinema Paradiso”, digitally restored. Main supporter Dolce & Gabbana, in collaboration with Luce Cinecittà and Cineteca di Bologna. The director Giuseppe Tornatore will introduce the screening at the Egyptian Theater.In collaboration with AFI FEST 2014 presented by Audi.

November 12th

The day begins with a morning press conference to introduce the delegation of talents from Italy to the Los Angeles press, coordinated by the Italian Trade Commission office in Los Angeles. Special guests: Franca Sozzani – Editor in Chief of Vogue, Italy and Giuseppe Tornatore. Talents include: Paolo Virzi and Matilde Gioli (Human Capital); Ferzan Ozpetek and Francesco Scianna (Fasten your Seatbelts), Francesco Munzi (Back Souls).

November 13th

The opening night of Cinema Italian Style, will start at 5:45 pm, with the Italian cast on the red carpet at the Egyptian Theatre. Confirmed talent include: Pierfrancesco Diliberto (director MAFIA ONLY KILLS IN SUMMER), Agostino Ferrente (director BEAUTIFUL THINGS), Matilde Gioli (actress HUMAN CAPITAL), Francesco Munzi (director BLACK SOULS), Ferzan Ozpetek (director FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS), Francesco Scianna (actor FASTEN YOUR SEATBELTS), Paolo Virzì (director HUMAN CAPITAL). Special guests: Franca Sozzani (Editor in Chief VOGUE ITALIA) and Giuseppe Tornatore.

After the opening remarks, the Cinema Italian Style Award by Bonato Milano 1960 will be presented to Giuseppe Tornatore and Franca Sozzani.

At 7:00 pm: screening of HUMAN CAPITAL by Paolo Virzì, the Italian Entry - Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards®

From today, Cinema Italian Style 2014 will present the exhibition “25 years in Cinema Paradiso”, dedicated to the masterpiece by Giuseppe Tornatore, at the Italian Cultural Institute. The exhibition continues until the 15th of January 2015.
