The expert musicianship of the Orchestra Italiana del Cinema, in collaboration with the best LA young music talents, combine to form an unforgettable multimedia concert, with poignant video segments, celebrating the partnership between music and film.
The concert will focus on one of the most influential filmmakers of the 20th century, Federico Fellini, perhaps best known in the English-speaking world for La Dolce Vita, a film that masterfully exemplifies Italian culture and style. Over his career Fellini won five Academy Awards, the highest number of Oscar wins for Best Foreign Language Film in history. Together with the Consulate General of Italy and the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles, the Orchestra Italiana del Cinema will celebrate the Maestro's life and achievements with a highly anticipated event at UCLA's Royce Hall.

Orchestra Italiana del Cinema
(OIC) is the first Italian symphonic ensemble dedicated to the interpretation and performance of film music. Orchestra Italiana del Cinema is formed by young talents and seasoned professional players from the best Italian orchestras.
The Orchestra was born inside Forum Music Village, the historic recording studios founded in the late 1960s by Ennio Morricone, Piero Piccioni, Armando Trovajoli, and Luis Bacalov. Its mission is to promote and perform the extraordinary original Italian soundtrack heritage through a continuous commitment to research, recovery and restoration.
